Simple Algebra: Addition: Math Rule
Here we want to see if your student can do calculations using the "Math Rule Box."
This is a little more difficult than a basic math fact since some "visualization" is required.
The Math Rule Box requires the student to "do what it says at the top of each box to every number in the box." The first number in the first box is done for you with the answer shown in red.
On the screen are three Math Rule boxes. The top of each box says what you are supposed to do to each of the numbers in the box. For example, the top of the first box says "Add 4." If we "Add 4" to the number 3 the answer is 7. Tell me what numbers go in the other empty boxes as I point to them.
