Skill 12A Multiply with Tens and Hundreds Your student should be able to quickly learn the trick that when multiplying with 10's and 100's you simply add the zeros to the number. So 100 x 7 = 7 plus two zeros (since there are two zeros in 100). 10 x 4 would be 4 plus one zero (since there is one zero in 10). While the worksheet gives practice on paper, this is a fun activity to do mentally with the entire class. |
